This tire utilises multiple grip patterns across different surface sections designed to help riders increase rolling efficiency, acceleration, cornering grip and control.

Tioga's patent pending Grip-Pods system is a pressure sensitive traction system consisting of sticky bristle knobs encased within a recess that improves traction at lower tire pressures. This pod design automatically activates with natural riding motion.
